HOP-N-DASH

Game Description:

Run and Jump through three levels. Try to reach the end, smashing as many Crates and collecting as many Carrots as you can in the process.

How To Play:

Bounce on crates to break them, and move near carrots to pick them up.
You can Double Jump by jumping again once in the air.
Your Double Jump also resets after bouncing off a crate.

Picking up 100 Carrots will give you an additional life.
Getting a game over will return you to the HUB Level.

High Scores for Carrots, Crates, and Time are recorded upon completing a level, and displayed in the HUB in front of the level entrance.
Get a perfect Crate and Carrot score to unlock a trophy for each level.

Once you've beaten all three levels, find the Dachshund Plushie in the HUB Level to roll the credits.

Keyboard Inputs:
WASD - Movement
Space - Jump / Double Jump
Escape / P - Pause

Controller Inputs:
Left Analog Stick - Move
Bottom Face Button - Jump
Start - Pause

Known Issues:

- There is no controller support for navigating UI menus.
- Sometimes you need to click on a menu once before it registers.

About the Developers:

This project was made by Selbesterwahr and WillTheWater. This is our third game in total, our first 3D game, and our first time using Unreal Engine. This project mostly served as a learning exercise, but we hope you were able to have some fun with it. Let us know your thoughts below!
